Role: CDM Advisor / Principal Designer
Location: Ipswich or London office
Salary: Up to £50,000 + bonus scheme + excellent benefits package

WRG is supporting an independent property & construction consultancy who are looking to appoint an ambitious CDM/ PD professional to their team in Ipswich or London. Our client has ambitious growth plans for the year ahead, and would like to hire an experienced CDM/ PD to oversee their project portfolio.
You would cover a diverse portfolio of industrial, high end residential and retail projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary environment where they will be working alongside Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Cost Managers to offer a CDM/ PD service to clients.
The role would suit an motivated CDM professional from a consultancy background who feels that their progress is currently stalled, our client has a history of excellent career progression and will offer support and training for you to achieve success.
Responsibilities:
- Offer a range of CDM/ PD services to clients.
- Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.
- Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design.
- Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
- Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place.
- Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
- Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
- Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
- Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
- Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
